One of our newest and most exciting devices available is the Ultraformer III, designed to lift, tighten and contour the skin on both the face and the body.
UltraFormer III utilises non-invasive ultrasound (HIFU) to lift and tighten the skin of the face and body. Each precision per shot pulse delivers targeted energy to remodel collagen fibres, treating lines, wrinkles and facial skin sagging and tightening body tissues to tone and shape your silhouette.
The ultrasound multi-depth cartridges of the Ultraformer III only targets specific layers of the skin, whilst surrounding tissues remain undamaged.
UltraFormer III can only be performed by expertly-trained practitioners such as those at Dr Medispa, to ensure a professional standard of care, clinical expertise and the utmost safety during your treatment.
As the ultrasound waves reach specific layers of the skin, it creates a heating effect to temperatures at around 65-75 °C. This heating action creates trauma to the skin tissues, which in turn initiates a natural healing response, increasing the production of collagen fibres. The result – firmer and tighter skin.

A treatment with Ultraformer III is generally well-tolerated and should not feel painful.
Most patients describe feeling a mild pinpricking sensation and a gentle warming of the skin. Other patients have described the sensation as a mini electric shock, as the heat increases under the skin.
As with any heat device treatments, there can be some temporary side-effects. These include:
Many patients start to see results within one treatment. However, for optimum results, you may require a course of several sessions, depending on the areas to be treated. For example:-
• For face and neck, one to three treatments, spaced three months apart may be required.
• For eyes and submental areas, you may require between three and six treatments, spaced one month apart.
Maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months help to maintain the results achieved, in your initial course of treatment.
Some skin tightening results can be seen straight away. However, as collagen production increases over time and with several treatment sessions, you will see a continued improvement in your skin’s tone and texture.
