Once both he and you are satisfied that MyEllevate® will be a safe and effective option for you to undertake, you can book your appointment for the procedure.
Firstly, a local anaesthetic will be applied to the treatment area. Once this has begun to take effect, the doctor will put very tiny holes near your platysma muscle bands. These holes will be used to place special sutures around your muscles. After which, a gentle technique will be used to begin to improve your muscle bands. During this part of the neck lift, we will use non-absorbable sutures to reposition your tissues. We sometimes refer to this as ‘lacing up’ as this procedure allows the doctor to lift your neck in to a higher position.
