Mesotherapy for Lips

Mesotherapy can also be used to rejuvenate, hydrate and subtly plump areas, such as the lips. If you’re experiencing dry lips, hollowing or feel that your lips need rejuvenating without adding volume, mesotherapy is the treatment for you.

How does mesotherapy work?

Mesotherapy for skin revival and rejuvenation helps to nourish and hydrate the skin, as it stimulates collagen and elastin production.

Specially-prepared active ingredients, micro-injected into the skin cell, deliver vitamins into the ‘mesoderm’ or middle layer of the skin.

This is a targeted procedure, and just one drop of solution at each injection site may be effective for treating that area.

Frequently asked questions

What areas can be treated with mesotherapy?

For skin rejuvenation and revitalization, mesotherapy is most commonly used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

For fat reduction, mesotherapy can be applied anywhere but is mostly used on the chin, jowls, buttocks, legs, tummy and arms.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments depends on the area and the skin concern, but most conditions need between 3 and 10 treatments.

After you have completed the full course for your condition, you may choose to ‘top up’ with occasional, maintenance treatments.

Does mesotherapy hurt?

We can use either standard needles for the mesotherapy treatment, or administer the injections using a specially-manufactured ‘meso gun’.

The meso gun tends to cause less discomfort than needles, but we can apply a topical anaesthesia before your treatment whichever you prefer.

Following the treatment, the area might be slightly tender and red for about an hour, but this should disappear quickly.

When will I see results?

Results vary depending on your body type and the condition treated.

Most patients notice visible improvement in 2 or 3 sessions; some may even see results after just 1 session
