Modern life can be tough on your skin; we formulated Signature Serum to support your skin barrier and protect your natural microbiome, no matter your skin type.

Signature Serum is packed with antioxidants and moisturising actives, including probiotics, encapsulated retinol (safe for daytime use!), and plant-based exosomes, designed to help hydrate, soothe, protect and nourish your skin. We’ve also included SOM1X, our signature blend of active ingredients, developed to be pro-active rather than reactive to problematic skin.

If you want to treat a concern with one of our concentrates, Signature Serum helps to amplify the results. It works in synergy with other active ingredients, whilst also creating an optimal environment in each layer of your skin for other products to work.

It took three years of back and forth development to get this serum performing not only as a skin supplement, but to work as the perfect base for makeup application, too. You’ll be left with a dewy glow, and makeup will just glide seamlessly onto your skin.

Plant-based Green Tangerine Exosomes – Exosomes are biological nanoparticles secreted from living cells, and contain various biological information such as metabolites and proteins. These substances are delivered to target cells to regulate cell functions.
Green tangerines, directly sourced from Jeju Island in Korea have a higher Vitamin C content, compared to lemons, and are known for immunity reinforcement and skin beauty. They also contain Nobiletin which has anti-inflammatory properties.
Our plant-based exosomes from the Green Tangerines are shown to reduce wrinkles by preventing inflammation and give skin elasticity and moisture by increasing Elastin & Hyaluronic acid production, thus making skin supple, and hydrated.

Encapsulated Retinol – Retinol is Dr Somji’s favourite highly effective active ingredient, and encapsulation greatly reduces the potential for irritation, whilst improving bioavailability. It helps increase collagen and elastin content in the skin, which improves firmness and elasticity and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Retinol also benefits skin texture and tone.

Probiotics – Help regulate the microbiota pathways, restoring skin’s instinctive defences. With skin soothing, strengthening and moisturising properties, skin is visibly less dry and better protected against environmental pollutants.

Encapsulated Multivitamins – Several antioxidant solutions exist, and among the most used and best understood are vitamins A, C, and E (ACE). Together, these vitamins can potentially scavenge free radicals while nourishing the skin. This cosmetic active is an encapsulated combination of the established antioxidative vitamins A, C and E. These vitamins are stabilised to be delivered to the deeper skin layers, which enhances their availability. This active complex helps to battle oxidative stress and the appearance of premature ageing.
