At Dr. MediSpa we offer FaceTite, a soft surgical treatment (stitch free) which uses radiofrequency technology operated from a cannula-device which is inserted in to the skin to tighten and tone areas of sagging. A second-generation treatment to BodyTite™, FaceTite™ has the advantage of offering a face-lifting treatment without painful or invasive surgery.
FaceTite™ can be typically used to reduce the signs of ageing, loose skin and fatty deposits in many areas of the face. It can reduce jowls, fat under the chin and nasolabial folds (laughter lines). The radiofrequency technology ensures localised treatment without damaging or harming the surrounding skin, fat or tissues. Prior to any non-surgical treatment here at Dr. MediSpa, we would request that you attend a pre-treatment consultation to assess your individual concern, medical history and suitability for this treatment.
To ensure that you are made as comfortable as possible, the FaceTite™ procedure is performed under a local anaesthetic. Dr. Somji will then insert the FaceTite™ cannula in to the area of concern. The device heats the area to a desired temperature using localised radiofrequency technology. Any excess fat is then removed.
You may feel some slight discomfort and experience some swelling and bruising for a few days after your treatment but this is normal and to be expected. You can take arnica a week in advance of your treatment to minimise bruising.
Everyone’s reaction is different but typically you should see results immediately following your SkinTite™ treatment. As SkinTite™ encourages new collagen formation, your skin tone, texture and elasticity will improve in the weeks that follow. Initially there may be some swelling but this should subside (usually after day 3) and reveal your true results.
Typically, most people see a 40% reduction in skin laxity. Results can vary but can last years as opposed to months with this treatment. Your general health, lifestyle choices and your approach to good skin care will all have an influence on the longevity of your results.
