Glutathione IV (intravenous) treatment is a revolutionary delivery system for intravenously injecting the cocktail of glutathione and vitamins into your blood stream.
While tablets or vitamin drinks can be compromised by the acids in the stomach, the IV delivery system ensures maximum absorption of the cocktail, increasing its efficacy.
Treatment with glutathione is not permanent and we will give you a maintenance programme designed for your needs.
To maintain the results, you must avoid excessive sun exposure and we recommend you avoid smoking, a poor diet and misuse of alcohol.
At Dr MediSpa, all patients have an initial consultation to make sure they are medically fit and well enough for any recommended procedure.
During your consultation, you will need to tell the doctor about any past or current medical conditions or concerns. Your doctor will then decide if IV treatment is the right course of action for you.
We will discuss the number of sessions you are likely to need during your consultation.
You may feel slight discomfort when we insert the IV needle into your arm, and experience a little bruising where the drip was inserted. This is minimal and should fade in a day or so.
The rest of the treatment is painless.
There is no downtime following the treatment, and you can return to your daily activities straight away.
Some people may experience a slight bruising at the site of injection, but this is unusual and should disappear within a few hours.
