Profhilo® Structura
Profhilo® Structura is the newest addition to the Profhilo® range of injectable products. While Profhilo® acts on the superficial layers of the skin, Profhilo® Structura is specifically designed for administration within the deeper subcutaneous fat layer, aiding in the restoration and repositioning of fat pads affected by the ageing process.
Profhilo® Structura enhances the lifting and contouring of the deeper dermal tissues, making it particularly suitable for those seeking greater structural support for their facial contours.
During clinical testing, 95% of patients noticed lasting enhancements in the mid-face area after the first treatment. This improvement was sustained three months later, highlighting the lasting benefits of Profhilo® Structura.
Profhilo®
Profhilo® is an injectable skin rejuvenation and bio-remodelling product that contains a blend of ultra-pure, concentrated high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acids (HA).
As the first BDDE-free stabilised injectable HA-based product, Profhilo® effectively addresses various signs of superficial skin ageing, including dehydration and skin sagging. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body, responsible for hydrating and cushioning skin tissues.
As we age, HA depletes; when it diminishes, our skin loses essential hydration, which leads to sagging, creasing, and wrinkling. The HA in Profhilo® helps replenish our natural HA while stimulating collagen and elastin production and attracting water molecules back into the tissues. Profhilo® can be used in any area of the face and body that requires skin replenishment and firming.

As with the original Profhilo® and Profhilo® Body treatments, most patients are advised to undergo two initial sessions of Profhilo® Structura, scheduled a month apart.
For more pronounced facial ageing, an additional treatment may be necessary a month after the initial two sessions.
Results can be sustained with a single treatment every three to six months following your initial course of sessions. We will inform you of the estimated number of sessions that may be needed during your initial consultation.
There is no clinical downtime associated with Profhilo® Structura (a period required for home recovery), allowing you to resume your daily routine immediately after the treatment.
However, you may notice small lumps at the injection sites, along with tenderness and redness for a few hours post-treatment. These reactions are normal and will naturally subside after your session.
Your practitioner will provide specific aftercare instructions following the treatment.
Profhilo® Structura can be combined with other injectable and device-led treatments, such as injectable toxins, dermal fillers, and laser therapies. It performs exceptionally well when used alongside the original Profhilo®, as both treatments target specific depths of skin tissue.
Profhilo® may be offered as the initial step to enhancing overall skin quality for patients seeking more superficial skin rejuvenation treatments, whereas Structura may be more suitable as a first treatment for those experiencing more pronounced facial ageing.
However, the best results are achieved when Profhilo® and Profhilo® Structura are used together for a fully holistic approach to addressing the signs of skin and facial ageing.
Initial results may be observed approximately eight weeks after your initial Profhilo® treatment course and can last up to 12 months before maintenance treatments are advised.
