Is there any downtime with FaceTite™?

You may feel some slight discomfort and experience some swelling and bruising for a few days after your treatment but this is normal and to be expected. You can take arnica a week in advance of your treatment to minimise bruising.

When will I see the results of FaceTite™?

Everyone’s reaction is different but typically you should see results immediately following your SkinTite™ treatment. As SkinTite™ encourages new collagen formation, your skin tone, texture and elasticity will improve in the weeks that follow. Initially there may be some swelling but this should subside (usually after day 3) and reveal your true results.

How long do the results of FaceTite™ last?

Typically, most people see a 40% reduction in skin laxity. Results can vary but can last years as opposed to months with this treatment. Your general health, lifestyle choices and your approach to good skin care will all have an influence on the longevity of your results.

Who can have FaceTite?

FaceTite™ can be typically used to reduce the signs of ageing, loose skin and fatty deposits in many areas of the face.

It can reduce jowls, fat under the chin and nasolabial folds (laughter lines). The radiofrequency technology ensures localised treatment without damaging or harming the surrounding skin, fat or tissues.

Prior to any non-surgical treatment here at Dr. MediSpa, we would request that you attend a pre-treatment consultation to assess your individual concern, medical history and suitability for this treatment.

What happens during the FaceTite™ treatment?

To ensure that you are made as comfortable as possible, the FaceTite™ procedure is performed under a local anaesthetic. Dr. Somji will then insert the FaceTite™ cannula in to the area of concern.

The device heats the area to a desired temperature using localised radiofrequency technology. Any excess fat is then removed.

He is very thorough, and won’t do any treatments he doesn’t think are necessary, he actually persuaded me to have less! During the consultation I was educated on all the risks, pros and cons, and measured my facial proportions to work out exactly what was best to suit my face naturally. His theory is ‘less is more’ and I completely agree! I went in thinking I needed jawline filler, lip filler, cheek filler and Botox which is what I’ve been told by other places, being ‘sold too’, in fact all I needed was a touch of lip and chin filler to balance my symmetry and this was absolutely perfect! He’s a master at the Cannula method, I felt minimal discomfort, had 0 bruising because the tip is blunt and my anxiety of injectables is now much less as I now know this is the safest method. I couldn’t recommend Dr Somji any more, professional, patient, understanding, safe and a master Injector! The Drs  assistant Elli was very sweet too making sure I felt comfortable through out, embarrassingly held my hand to calm my nerves which I might add really helped! 5 stars!!!!
